ÇALİŞ BOWLİNG CLUB

Welcome to the website of Çaliş Bowling Club - Creators of the first ever Flat Green Bowling Club in Turkey!

Established in April 2007 we now have over 50 full members, some of whom are experienced bowlers including County level players and qualified coaches and others who are completely new to the sport.

All our bowling equipment comes from the UK- we have some equipment sets dedicated for club members use in league matches & competitions and other sets for everyday use & for non-members.

We are an informal club and have a fluid organisational group rather than a committee. Four of the founder members (Jim & Rosemerie Bridge and Mark & Joanne Pietsch) form the core of the group performing such roles as Fixture Secretary, Treasurer, Club Secretary etc., whilst other members help out with the day-to-day running of the club and with the organisation of special events. Every member plays a vital role in the growth and success of our Club and we have a very welcoming & friendly atmosphere.

Our only dress code is that members must wear the Club polo shirt for league matches and competitions.

Our green will be open to non-members (no children under the age of 12 years are permitted to play) and rinks can be booked with Rosemerie.

A 2 hour session including all equipment hire costs 10 YTL (approximately £4) .

Annual and monthly memberships are available at a cost of 270 YTL & 40 YTL respectively.

We have Summer & Winter leagues (5 leagues) and Fun Day Competitions throughout the year.
